The heart behind Anamcara is our founder, whose love for design has been a constant since childhood. Born into a family of doctors where medicine was considered the only path, she charted her own way by sketching outfits at eight, experimenting with fabrics, and curating her own looks for every occasion. Even while life led her through teaching, marriage, and motherhood, her passion for design never dimmed. What began as a small exhibition in Lucknow soon grew into a journey larger than herself, a commitment to preserving craft and giving artisans a renewed future.
